How Heat Pumps Work
Air source and ground source heat pumps work in the same way,by extracting heat from their surroundings.Ground source heat pumps use a borehole or loop of coils buried in the ground, while air source heat pumps take heat from the air surrounding them. The fluid heated by both systems is compressed to produce the higher temperatures needed to heat your radiators, underfloor heating and hot water. Heat Pumps are a great Investment
Heat pump systems can have a dramatic reduction in the cost of heating and cooling your property, especially if you are off grid and using LPG or Oil fired systems.
