As energy becomes scarcer and prices rise, we need to find alternative ways of providing heating and “keeping the lights on”. Renewable energy offers a sustainable way of providing the energy we need and creating jobs for SME’s in the Midlands in a market estimated at 500,000 UK jobs by 2020 according to the Department of Energy and Climate Change.
Paul Hutchens, from Eco2 Solutions in Kidderminster, will present a view from the sharp end of renewable and energy efficiency technologies for buildings including solar energy and better energy controls. It will include the drivers for inclusion of such measures and technologies, examples of what can be done, financial benefits and payback together with how this impacts on businesses in the Midlands region.
The Energy Institute West Midlands and Mid Wales Branch are hosting this event on Thursday 7th November 2013 at the Bell Inn, Belbroughton near Stourbridge (Postcode DY9 9XU); we’d love to see you there!
