We’re delighted to announce we’re now Countrysides’ preferred solar PV partner.
Countryside, who have ambitious growth plans, have signed an agreement with us to install their solar PV requirements for developments in the next three years.
Ryan Mee, Group Commercial Director at Eco2Solar, said: “We’re over the moon Countryside has chosen us as their solar installation partners. We’ve always had a good relationship, and our hard work and commitment to quality is reflected in receiving this agreement.
“It’s a key time as the new Part L Building Regulations come into force in June. Of the 180,000 new homes built in England each year, currently around 10% have solar PV installed, and it’s widely anticipated that this figure will jump to 80% once the new regulations come in, which will inevitably impact on the solar supply chain; creating a steep cliff of upwards demand for these technologies.”
Mike Hill, Group Procurement Director of CPPLC said: “Countryside are extremely proactive in this arena and acknowledge the challenges to the supply chain that the new building regulations will bring. We want to build sustainable homes for the future and a sustainable, reliable partner is critical in helping us to deliver these renewable energy solutions and so have nominated Eco2Solar as the most experienced specialist with a proven track record in delivering high quality installations, nationwide at scale”.
Countryside has the right idea as they are firming up a solar supplier now, which is what Eco2Solar recommend all housing developers do.
We’re looking forward to creating more sustainable homes for future generations with Countryside.
