1.85kWp Solar PV System: Birmingham

This 1.85kWp Sharp solar PV system was installed onto this semi-detached property in Birmingham. The installation was part of a trial scheme running in Birmingham, called the Pay As You Save Scheme (PAYS). The Scheme is run by the Birmingham City Council who offer an interest-free loan for homeowners to make energy efficiency improvements on their homes. The homeowner then uses the payments from the Feed in Tariff to pay off their loan debt back to the Council. As well as solar PV, this property also benefitted from new double glazing, draught proofing, Sempatap insulation and internal cladding insulation – all of which was managed by Eco₂Solar.
