Eco2Solar Get Into the Festive Spirit with Acorns
Eco2Solar team members, Jill Aston and Francesca Minett, proudly donned Santa costumes in Birmingham on Saturday 8th December; to support Acorns Children’s Hospice’s annual Santa Stroll.
The seasonal charity event has been taking place for 4 years and provides Acorns Children’s Hospice with a vital opportunity to gain funding and awareness from their supporters in and around the Midlands.
The Santa’s on the run two day event, features two Santa runs of 5km and two 2km Santa Strolls for those who like to take things at a slower pace. Over the course of ‘Santa’s on the Run 2012’, more than 600 Santa’s ran, jogged, walked or strolled their way around Birmingham and Walsall; to pledge more than £20,000 of essential support to the hospice!
Eco2Solar were proud to support our charity of the year’s annual festive event, raising over £230 for the worthy cause; an amount which will provide over 6 hours of care to an Acorns child in need. We are delighted to continue our year-long campaign to raise funds and awareness for Acorns Children’s Hospice!
