‘Grow Your Own’ Energy With Eco2Solar at Edible Garden Show
Eco2Solar will be flying the flag for renewable energy at the forthcoming Edible Garden Show, this March. We are the only renewables company signed up to the show to date, and will be demonstrating the environmental and financial benefits of solar PV and solar thermal panels from 16-18 March on stand 386 in hall 1 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
It is the first time which we have exhibited at the Edible Garden Show, which saw over 10,000 visitors to its successful launch event last year.
“The Edible Garden Show is the perfect place to find out about ‘growing your own energy’,” says our managing director Paul Hutchens.
“Solar PV and solar thermal panels give householders and businesses the opportunity to generate their own electricity as well as earn money by selling it back to the national grid through government-backed schemes such as the feed-in tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive.
The Feed-in Tariff currently pays householders and organisations 21p per kWh of electricity generated via solar panels (up to 4kWp), whilst the Renewable Heat Incentive – which provides a return to businesses and public sector organisations for installing renewable energy sources – is due to be rolled out to households later this year.
Despite the recent reduction in Feed-in Tariff rates for solar PV, Eco2Solar believes there is still a strong case for investing in solar panels, with returns of around 10% a year available for an average-sized house.
“Solar energy is completely in tune with the ‘good life’ vibe the show is helping to promote in these times of environmental and economic moderation,” added Mr Hutchens. “We’re delighted to be taking part and are sure we’ll see a lot of interest in our products and services.”
We would love to see you there at stand 386!
