Eco₂Solar installed this Ecotube solar thermal collector to this attractive college building in Rotherham. The Colleges’ governing body did not want to spoil the aesthetics of the building by installing a solar system onto the front. Therefore, our Ecotube collectors were the ideal solution. They can be mounted on flat surfaces, and therefore the flat roof behind the front of the building proved an ideal location. The modules can be oriented exactly south to ensure they are exposed to the optimum amount of solar radiation, and also possess rotatable collector fins inside the tubes enabling them to be rotated to 30 degrees to face the Sun.
