The Kidderminster-based solar panel company Eco2Solar is celebrating a record-breaking month with solar panel installations on over 500 houses throughout the UK in October. The company is now on track to install solar panels on 3,500 houses in 2018.
Eco2Solar specialise in solar photovoltaic (PV) panels for new build housing, social housing and commercial scale buildings. The company works with most of the largest housing developers across the UK including Barratt, Willmott Dixon and Persimmon.
Eco2Solar’s headquarters have been based in Worcestershire since 2007 and the company has recently opened a new branch in Scotland. The company engages over 50 staff across the UK and is currently recruiting for new roles within the sales and operational departments.
Paul Hutchens, CEO of Eco2Solar, said: “2018 has been an incredible year for us so far. We’ve seen unprecedented demand for our services, and our specialist installation teams have been working with house builders on developments across the UK, from Aberystwyth to Norfolk, Cornwall to Aberdeen. Our growth in Scotland is particularly encouraging; and are we are working on over 120 sites north of the border.”
Paul launched Eco2Solar from his kitchen table in Worcestershire over 11 years ago, and while Eco2Solar has now become a national operation with satellite teams operating in the South of England, Wales and Scotland, Paul believes the West Midlands is the ideal location for a growing business.
