I’ve had an interest in sustainability since school and actually studied Geography with Environmental Management at the University of Exeter. After graduating in 2010, I joined a Solar company in London as a receptionist, over time progressing in to a project management role before eventually moving into a role as an Installations Manager for a UK wide delivery project.
I joined Eco2Solar in 2019 as Technical Manager, assisting internal teams and our clients with PV design, technical support and problem solving. There’s been huge growth within the company and that is only expected to accelerate over the next few years and whilst it’s not without it’s challenges, it’s a very rewarding role and I’m delighted to have recently been promoted to Director of Technical.
To prepare for the growth we are currently expanding our Technical team so that we are best equipped to support our customers with the upcoming challenges. I’m focused on driving innovation in our designs and processes, identifying and researching new products and improving the solutions we offer. I’m passionate about the work we do and one day hope to see solar panels on every new-build property in the UK.
It’s a great atmosphere at Eco2Solar, - everybody gets on, it’s a really collaborative and supportive environment. For a small company, we make a great impact and we are installing on the majority of new-build sites across the UK. We are growing quickly yet our company culture still remains a very important focus, maintaining our core values and encouraging internal progression, everyone at Eco2Solar has the potential AND the opportunities to develop. It’s going to be a really exciting few years and we’re up to the challenge!
